Jonn Howell is the president of DataExperience, Inc., and has been developing solutions in FileMaker Pro since 1992. His personal goal is to create the most intuitive user experience in the world. His clients include: Apple Computer, Amgen, Genentech, Electronic Arts, Nortel Networks, Novell Corporation, Stanford University, The University of California, and Air Support. He holds annual training classes on database design, relational modeling, business requirements, client management, documentation and interface design at his office north of Los Angeles. Jonn leads a team of developers building data systems. He has a solid reputation in the bio-technical industry as a database system programmer, business analyst and developer. Formally trained as a robotics engineer, Jonn is also an accomplished graphic designer and professional sales trainer. Jonn received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University. He is a FileMaker Business Alliance Member, and is a frequent speaker at FileMaker Developer Conferences.

Joe Scarpetta is the principal of Apphia Solutions and the founder of FMSpry.com. Previously, he spent 8 years with the National Fire Protection Association as an IS consultant/in-house FileMaker developer. His background in FileMaker spans more than 15 years, starting with the prepress/print industry. Joe has also built solutions to manage proposed safety code changes, telemarketing, collections, bulk shipping, meetings, and electronic balloting. His strongest skill is the ability to translate business requirements into successful solutions and build them with FileMaker. He has strong FileMaker and PHP experience, and specializes in bringing solutions to the Web. In 2008, he added FileMaker Developers conference speaker to his resume, where he spoke about integration of Adobe Spry with the FileMaker API for php, along with starting his consulting company and becoming a FileMaker Business Alliance Member.

Laramie is a documentation specialist, business analyst, and project manager. She has a background in Art Conservation, and has worked as a sculpture conservator for The Getty Museum, LACMA and The Menil Collection. Laramie leverages her experiences of writing detailed technical reports for conservation projects and research for requirements gathering and documentation of database systems. She firmly believes that a well written requirements document is essential to the database life-cycle by providing detail and clarity regarding the client’s needs and the system’s capabilities. Laramie holds a BFA from Temple University and a MSc in Conservation from the University of Delaware.

Martin Sorich is an independent consultant and has been developing FileMaker Pro solutions for over 10 years. Martin was the technical FileMaker resource at Genentech, interfacing with internal customers and third party FileMaker developers. Earlier in his FileMaker career, Martin conceived, designed and developed FileMaker Pro databases for Genitope Corporation, which helped track and manage the manufacturing of patient specific B-Cell Lymphoma vaccines used in multiple phase II and phase III clinical trials. Martin received his B.S. in Molecular Biology from San Jose State University.

Ray has a formal Computer Sciences background with a Bachelor's degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, and 22 years of related work experience. Ray has specialized in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Enterprise Data Architecture for large companies and as a consultant. He has experience with almost all database software and has become technology neutral. He believes that a useful BI infrastructure is less dependent on a particular technology and more dependent on the design and intentions of the organization. He is an expert in SQL and performance tuning for Data Warehousing queries in Oracle, SQL Server and Teradata. Ray is an expert in running visioning, brainstorming & architecture sessions. He has wonderful war stories about doing projects for marketing departments of banks, credit card companies, airlines, biotech, telecoms, insurance companies, blood banks, and retail conglomerates.

Stephen is a 18+ year veteran of FileMaker talking with and visiting over 200 customers a year. Stephen is a Certified Developer in 7, 8 and 9 as well as an authorized FileMaker Trainer.
